Better late then never.
Here is our 2010 Christmas tree. I decided to make our ornaments this year. We made felt Christmas trees, filter angels, and penguins. We made them for our thanksgiving craft with the Erickson's and had a great time!

$5 rocking chair redo
I got this rocking chair for $5. It had that great '70's fabric on it complete with the ruffle under the seat (which i took off right away!). The lady I bought it from was moving and said that her man friend took the bottom cushion with him when he was done visiting. Did he just love it or did he have an accident that he didn't want her to know about?? I don't really want to know. With new padding, fabric, and a class at JoAnn Fabrics this became my first full reupholstered chair! I also added an adjustable head rest/lumbar support to it. What do you think? I have since redone my piano bench with the same fabric.

In memory of Mrs. Williams
When Nathan was in 2nd grade his teacher passed away unexpectedly halfway threw the year. She was a great teacher who loved frogs. We all miss her. I made this stained glass in memory of her for the staff and all who visit the school. It hangs on a window leading to the courtyard for all to enjoy.

Snowville
At the last minute we decided to surprise Grandma and Grandpa Gunter for new years. We asked the kids if they wanted to go, so we did. Chris saw Blue (our dog) first and got very excited, she wondered how Blue had gotten to UT from WA, but then she new that we has surprised them! From Pendleton, OR all the way to southeast UT the weather was very snowy. There were white out conditions in a few places, it was fun! Here is the picture of Snowville (very fitting!).

Well, I think we really want snow. We woke up the kids at 10:40 PM to see the 2 inches of snow on the ground. Of course we now have 3 inches of snow now so school is canceled. Yes that's what I said, they cancel school for 3 inches of snow. There is nothing like playing in fresh snow at 7:00 in the morning. So much for not being a morning person!

Paint again!
Well Elizabeth wanted a tree with a nest, eggs, Mama bird and Dada bird with a worm in his mouth. So we got to work though it's not done it has begun.

We have been approved for adoption! The next step is to trade a prayer with someone who is praying for a good family for their baby! We are praying for a healthy belly (and body) to carry our baby.
