Broken Stove

Say your gas stove breaks, what do you serve for dinner?

I was cooking some regular brownies and some brownie covered oreo's when about 5 minutes before they were done our stove had tripped the breaker for the last time.  It had been tripping the breaker for months now but I guess it decided it was done.  What a waste of brownies!

We had decided it was time to buying a new stove, one with 2 ovens, but the Riker in me just can't let it go. I had to take it apart to see what exactly was wrong with it. We had figured out that the ignitor was working OK but the burner was not lighting up.  It turned out that the ignitor was staying on to long and kept tripping the breaker. So this is our burner from our oven. The big hole is not suppose to be there.

So for $800 less we ordered parts instead of a new stove.  Although L is glad I took it apart to see what the problem was, I am sad that I will have to wait until it dies completely before I get the 2 oven stove.

I ask again, what do you serve for dinner until the parts get here?
